Manav Shah serves as the lead analyst at Opal Capital and Portfolio Manager at 49 Wealth Management, where he oversees investment research spanning macroeconomic analysis, individual company fundamentals, and bespoke portfolio strategy for high-net-worth clients.
Prior to joining Opal, Manav served as a portfolio manager at a $1.5 billion+ wealth management firm and as an analyst at a long/short equity hedge fund, where he managed a concentrated equity portfolio. He holds a Bachelor’s in Finance from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2024.
